Kitesurfing spot information
Gordons Bay can be a good kitesurfing spot for beginners, as there are virtually no waves. The sheltered water of this bay welcomes sailors, surfers, fishermen, water-skiers, kitesurfers and windsurfers from around the world. The best wind here is the SE (onshore) and SW (cross shore). Gordon´s Bay main beach is a white sand beach popular with families. The harbour of the kitesurfing spot Gordons Bay also offers a number of excellent seafood restaurants.
How to get there and rigging areas
Gordons Bay is situated on the northeastern corner of False Bay about 50 km from Cape Town to the south of the N2. When following the N2 you will see the signs of Gordons Bay. Rigging on the beach.
