This is a great kitesurfing spot to practice your wave riding skills and is far less crowded than the other beaches along this stretch. The kitesurfing spot Doodles works on a South East and Southerly. With North West the wind can become gusty. Doodles is an famous kitesurfing spot to finish a downwinder from Sunset Beach or Dolphin Beach.

After your kitesurfing session or downwinder you can grab a bite and some drinks at Doodles just on the other side of the road.

How to get there and rigging areas

From central Cape Town, take the N1. Take the R27 Paarden Island /Milnerton turnoff (Marine Drive). Continue along this road. Turn left at the traffic lights into the M14 (Marine Drive). Continue along this road until you see Doodles Restaurant on your right hand side. Park in the parking area opposite the restaurant. Rigging on the beach.
