When the SW is blowing (onshore wind) and the swells are up, this kitesurfing spot is great with a perfect left and right break on the bay towards Stompneus Bay. On a SE the conditions of Paternoster are gusty and dangerous, it’s an offshore wind.

How to get there and rigging areas

From Cape Town, follow the West Coast Road on the R27, turn left at the sign board Vredenburg. Continue straight through the town follow for 10km. Turn right at the fourway stop in Paternoster and make your way to the beach. You park at the end of the residential houses. Rigging on the beach.
