Although the wind in Cape Town almost never stops in season, there might be windless days during your kitesurfing holidays. But don't worry … you are in Africa and there is lots to do. You may even plan to stay for another week after your advanced kitesurfing course (you may want to book one of our kitesurfing holiday apartments), to see Africa's great attractions… or simply visit these in the afternoons after you are "kited out".
In Cape Town you can do dolphin-watching tours or whale watching trips … Africa's wildlife and nature is abundant. If you want to turn away from the Oceans for a moment, you will want to visit a nature reserve and encounter the BIG 5 - elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos and leopards are awaiting you, next to giraffes, zebras, bucks and hippopotamus, to name just a few.
And not to forget, Cape Town and the region have the most picturesque views in the world. Mountain hiking, paragliding or flying is popular here and absolutely unforgettable.
