In Lesson 5 we have explained the front-side top-turn in wave kiteboarding as a stand-alone maneuver, initiated from riding towards a wave. It is possible to perform a top-turn maneuver in wave kiteboarding like this, but often and for several reasons you initiate the top-turn out of a bottom-turn, at the bottom of a wave. It will be more powered and it will feel spectacular if you perform a top-turn out of a bottom-turn maneuver in front of the wave while wave kiteboarding . This Lesson 6 explains how and why.

The entire maneuver starts with selecting a wave. This Lesson 6 will teach you how to select it best. Then it will go through the entire sequence of your front-side bottom-turn and how you then enter the top-turn.
